Recipe: Serabi

Bismillaahirrohmaanirrohiim,

Bahan:

  • 240 gram tepung beras
  • 400 ml santan kental
  • 1 sdt yeast
  • 90 gram gula pasir
  • ½ sdt garam
  • ½ sdt vanili bubuk
  • 2 butir telur
  • pasta pandan (opsional)

Kuah:

  • 350 ml santan
  • 80 gram gula merah
  • 1 tetes pasta pandan

Steps:

  1. Rebus santan, garam, dan vanili sampai mendidih.
  2. Campur tepung beras, gula pasir, fermipan, dan vanili.
  3. Aduk rata lalu masukkan santan yang sudah direbus.
  4. Aduk lagi sampai tak ada yang menggumpal.
  5. Masukkan telur, aduk sampai rata.
  6. Saring agar adonan benar-benar halus.
  7. Tambahkan pasta pandan jika suka.
  8. Diamkan adona selama 1-2 jam.
  9. Siapkan wajan teflon, beri sedikit minyak goreng dan masak serabi sampai matang.
  10. Ulangi sampai semua adonan habis.
  11. Masak kuahnya, campur semua bahan dan aduk terus di atas api kecil.
  12. Setelah matang matikan api dan saring kuah.
  13. Sajikan serabi bersama kuah santan.
  14. Kuah Santan: Didihkan semua bahan kuah.

Steps:

  1. Mix all dry ingredients, put aside. 
  2. In another bowl, mix milk and egg. Add in cooking oil and vanilla extract. 
  3. Slowly pour in one cup at a time, wet mixture into dry mixture until you have smooth batter.
  4. Preheat your pan in medium heat, cook your pancake. If you use a 20cm non stick pan, cook 3-4 pancakes at a time.
  5. Flip the pancakes once the top parts are bubbling. Cook until they are golden brown. 
  6. Add your favourite topping like syrup or yoghurt or fruits.
  7. Enjoy!
